How to communicate with your coach between sessions and get the most from unlimited text support.

Quick answer: Open the Fitmate app, go to Messages, and send your coach a text anytime. They typically respond within a few hours on business days. There's no limit — message as often as helpful.

How to Send a Message

Open the Fitmate App

Launch the app and tap the Messages tab at the bottom of your screen.

Type Your Message

Write your question, update, or whatever's on your mind. You can also attach photos if helpful.

Send and Wait for Response

Hit send. Your coach typically responds within a few hours on business days.

Your coach typically responds within a few hours during business days (Monday-Friday). Messages sent on evenings or weekends will be answered the next business day. For urgent questions, send your message early in the day.

Tips for Effective Messaging

Be specific. Instead of "I had a bad day," try "I overate at dinner because I skipped lunch — how can I prevent this?"

Ask in the moment. If you're at a restaurant unsure what to order, message your coach right then.

Share wins too. Don't just message when struggling — let your coach know when things go well.

Use it proactively. Message about upcoming challenges (travel, events) before they happen.
